Door Lock Fitting and Installation

As well as replacing existing door locks for our customers we can also add additional locks to Timber and Composite doors. We can fit British Standard BS3621 deadlocks to Timber doors to increase the door security. Most timber doors commonly found in New Build flats may only have one BS3621 Mortice Lock and no other security locks.

Lock snapping

There is also the threat from Lock Snapping that has become the favourite method of entry to homes by thieves looking to steal high value cars sitting on the homeowners drive. Most homes are just fitted with standard Euro Locks and not Anti snap. Insurance companies will require home owners to have anti snap locks fitted as part of their Insurance Policy. There are various grades of euro anti-snap locks from standard anti snap locks to the more expensive top of the range 3 Star anti-snap euro locks.

If you want any further information on anti snap locks or would like to upgrade your existing locks then please give us a call and we can let you know what options are available based on the type of door you have.
